Yet, they refuse.

O'Disbelievers,
Everyday you see His signs,
You see death.
You know you will die someday.
You know heaven and hell exists.
You know that you are sinning,
but you do it anyway...
Why?
To please yourself.
Not your Creator.

You walk past a Muslim woman everyday,
and you judge her for wearing the Hijab.
You ask yourself 'Why would she wear such a thing?'
but you never ask her for her reason.
You just accept it,
just like you accept a prostitute wearing a low cleavage top
and high heels.

You think that maybe there is a God
and you turn to him only when you need something.
When you are desperate,
you ask him for a favour.
And he gives.
He gives.

After He's return your plead,
you fail to thank Him for his blessing.
You become unsatisfied and impatient.
You want more.
So, you ask for more.
And He gives.
He gives.

O' Disbelievers,
why do you only thank God when you're in a near-death experience?
Then you forget that He has brought life to you.
Everyday that you wake up,
is another day you get to live.
& Yet, you refuse to thank Him.

O' Disbelievers,
You acknowledge that there is a God,
and that He is the one who created you,
who gave life to you,
who provides you with everything that you need.
He has clothed you.
He has fed you.
He gave you a healthy body and healthy mind
so that you can lead the life you desire.
He surrounds you beloved parents and friends
so that you wont feel alone.
He made the world so beautiful,
that you travel in awe.
& Yet, you refuse to praise your Lord
for all that he has given you.
Yet, they refuse.

  2. Ma'sha'allah, so beautiful! Yes, I ask the same - did you write this sister? Either way, it's so true and I think it's something that should help us, as Believers, to remember He who gives and gives when we are in need, as we (mankind) are not thankful enough, as the Qur'an states repeatedly.
